When Hurricane Beryl struck Jamaica in June 2024, the team at RealDecoy — an international software development company that has operated in Jamaica for over 15 years, wanted to help.  The leadership at the Hugh James Foundation worked closely with a local school’s administration to identify needs and coordinate the distribution of bursaries and book vouchers to those affected.

The unprecedented damage of Hurricane Melissa in October 2025 drove the creation of School Support Jamaica – a platform to raise funds and deliver the support needed for students to return to learning.

Schoolfeepayments.com, a Jamaican company, is providing their payment platform at cost, and RealDecoy is covering the hosting costs for the platform and dedicating staff to administration and oversight.

We envision a Jamaica where:

  • Every school has the tools to deliver quality education.
  • Every student has what they need to succeed.
  • Every donor can see the impact of their support.

School Support Jamaica is building a culture of shared responsibility one that strengthens schools, empowers students, and keeps education moving forward.

Education is the foundation of Jamaica’s future. Every child deserves the chance to keep learning, no matter the challenges. School Support Jamaica invites individuals, communities, and organizations to come together and make that possible. Your contribution helps rebuild today while creating lasting opportunities for tomorrow.
Together, we can keep students learning and keep Jamaica moving forward.
