School Support Jamaica was created to help students stay in school after Hurricane Melissa, providing essentials like uniforms, books, and exam fees for families in need. Launched on Make Giving Happen, the initiative connects schools, communities, and donors in a transparent way to support real educational needs.
While it began as a response to disaster recovery, School Support Jamaica is built for long-term impact. Many schools across Jamaica face resource gaps year-round, and this platform gives them a lasting way to raise funds for classroom materials, technology, science kits, and other tools that enhance learning.
