St Aloysius Christmas Care Packages

Vision

The holiday season is a magical time for children—a season filled with joy, laughter, and giving. Yet for many students within our community, Christmas can also highlight the challenges they face every day. At St. Aloysius Primary, we are committed to making this season a bit brighter for our students in need through our Christmas Care Packages Initiative.

Background

St. Aloysius Primary School, located at 74–76 Duke Street in Kingston, serves a vibrant community of nearly 1,200 students. While the holiday season is a time of joy, warmth, and celebration for many children, a significant number of students at St. Aloysius face daily challenges that make this time of year especially difficult.

To help ensure every child feels seen, supported, and celebrated, the school is preparing 50 Christmas Care Packages filled with essential items, treats, and small gifts. For many of these students, this may be the only gift they receive during the holidays, making our collective support truly meaningful.

This initiative rooted in compassion, community spirit, and the school’s longstanding mission to uplift its children, aims to bring smiles, comfort, and hope to families who need it most.

Rollout

Each package will include a thoughtful selection of necessities and festive items such as:
School supplies, Non-perishable food items, Holiday snacks, Small toys and Personal care products.

To reach our goal, we are seeking support from our community through monetary and in-kind donations. These packages will be distributed before the Christmas break on December 19th to the students.

Impact

Your generosity can transform a child’s holiday experience and remind them that their community cares.
