Vision
For students to return to school, they need the right clothing and footwear. This project aims to equip every student with the clothing typically purchased by parents in the fall, but that has been damaged or destroyed by hurricane Melissa.
Background
Each year parents buy a set of uniforms, prescribed footwear, and specific physical education clothing for each student. This project will purchase a brand new set of uniforms, shoes, and associated essentials so that students can hold their heads high as they return to the classroom.
Rollout
We will work with school administrators to connect with their existing uniform partner, will identify opportunities to purchase clothing in common sizes in bulk, and will provide gift vouchers for reputable shoe stores that can fit students with properly sized footwear.
